To apply for a Telegraphic Transfer - Outward please please contact a branch^ or complete and sign the Telegraphic Transfer Request - Outward (PDF, 32KB) and fax to Wide Bay Australia on (07) 4152 3499 or return to a branch. Faxed requests will need to be accompanied by a photocopy of acceptable Identification Requirements under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Act 2006 (PDF, 35KB) certified by an acceptable referee (PDF, 28KB). This form incorporates the transfer from your Wide Bay Australia account for payment of the Telegraphic Transfer and includes the applicable fee.

You will be contacted about the current exchange rate and final conversion amount.

 

* Funds cannot be transferred directly to an overseas credit card account. You may be able to arrange to pay a credit card bill if you send the funds to the suspense account of the overseas bank's card division. Telegraphic Transfers are not available to the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Cuba, India, Iran, Libya, Myanmar (Burma), Nauru, North Korea, Seychelles, Sudan, Syria.
** Apart from the fee we charge to arrange your Telegraphic Transfer - intermediary banks sometimes charge a handling fee when processing transfers, so the beneficiary may receive less than the original send amount.
