As of 7th January 2003, browser support for VeriSign Australia issued Global
server certificates will be:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 (build number 5.00.2920) or later
- For Macintosh user Internet Explorer 5.2.2 or later
- Netscape Navigator & Communicator 4.6 or later

Potential Impact on Customers Using Earlier Browser Versions
When
establishing an SSL session, customers using earlier browsers that do not have
the latest VeriSign Global server certificate root, may encounter a dialog
box indicating the root certificate has expired. An option to continue is displayed
and if selected will still provide an encrypted SSL session.
