Potential Impact on Customers Using Earlier Browser Versions
When establishing an SSL session, customers using earlier browsers that do not have the latest VeriSign Global server certificate root, may encounter a dialog box indicating the root certificate has expired. An option to continue is displayed and if selected will still provide an encrypted SSL session.

Solutions
We have provided the following solutions to assist customers with older browser versions. You may wish to provide information on which browser versions are supported. Alternatively, you can advise customers to download the new Global root certificate into their browser or upgrade their browser to a current version.

Downloading the new Global Server Certificate Root
Customers, except Macintosh users, using earlier browser versions then those listed above can install the new Global Root certificate. VeriSign has provided the following instructions to easily facilitate this process.
